César Aragão

  • Head of IR, Products and Allocation.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 1998 in risk team. Appointed Risk Manager responsible for market and liquidity risks, compliance and funds-of-funds in 2002. Took current position in 2011.
  • Was teacher of Economics and Finances Masters in FGV and Vice-President of BM&F’s Risk Chamber.
  • Master’s in Economics (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Eletric Engineering (UNIFEI).

Diego Carvalho

  • Head of Equity Investment Strategy.
  • Joined Bahia Group as an International Macroeconomic Analyst in 2010 and became a Trader in 2012. Took current position in June 2023.
  • Former Intern at EDF (Électricité de France) in Paris.
  • Master’s degree: Economics and Finance (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Production (PUC-Rio).

Diogo Mariani

  • Head of Back Office.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2014 as Director of New Business at Aleutas, becoming COO at Bahia Asset in the following year.
  • Former Owner and COO at fashion company Reserva, and Trainee at Brasil Telecom.
  • Master’s in Administration (PUC-Rio) | Graduate studies in Business Administration (Harvard Business School) | BSc in Economics (PUC-Rio).

Thiago Mendez

  • Head of Multimarket and Fixed Income Strategy.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2006 as an Intern, becoming Analyst in 2007. Became Trader in 2009, working on Interest Rate and International Currency Desks. At end-2010 migrated to Domestic Interest Rate Desk, which incorporated International Interest Rate Desk in January 2013.
  • Appointed Head of Fixed Income at Bahia Asset Management in November 2019.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics (PUC-Rio).

  • Worked at Salzburg Research (Austria) as an Intern and participated in a Summer Job Program at Bahia Group.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering (ITA, Magna cum Laude).

Bernardo Saraiva

  • Portfolio and Commodities Manager.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2021, as Analyst of Volatility, International Interest Rate and Credit Strategies. In June 2023 took current position.
  • Previously, worked at Mauá Capital as Portfolio Manager. At SPX Capital, worked as Trader of volatility and FX, where he was also an intern. At Itaú Asset Management, was Analyst of Business Strategy and participated in its Trainee program.
  • MBA: Finance (COPPEAD) | Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering (UFRJ).

Bruno Reis, CFA

  • Equity Analyst.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2021, in current position.
  • Previously, worked at Bradesco BBI e UBS as Equity Research Analyst and at Embraer as Intelligence Market Analyst and participated in its Trainee program.
  • Master’s in Eletronic Engineering (ITA) | Bachelor’s degree in Eletronic Engineering (ITA).

Daniel Mussi

  • Currencies Manager.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2004 as an Intern, becoming an International Back-Office Analyst and, since 2007, a Trader. Appointed Currency Analyst in 2010 and took current position in 2012.
  • Master’s in Finance and Business Economics (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering (UFRJ).

Daniel Saraiva

  • Data and Commodities Analyst.
  • Joined Bahia Group as an IT Intern in 2016. In 2018, appointed Macroeconomic Research – Data. Also appointed as a Commodities Analyst in 2022.
  • Master’s in Computer Science (PUC-Rio) | Math Additional Domain (PUC-Rio) | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (PUC-Rio).

Diego Santiago

  • Analyst of Internacional Macroeconomic.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2020 as a Macroeconomic Analyst Brazil. Took current position in 2022.
  • Formely Partner Proprietor of Originals Biotech.

Felipe Silveira, CFA

  •  Brasil Interest Rate Manager.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2018 as a Portfolio Manager of Currencies. Took currente position in 2021.
  • Master’s in Economics (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences (FGV).

Felipe Simas

  • International Interest Rate Strategies Manager.
  • Joined Bahia Asset Management in 2018 as Portfolio Manager of Currencies. Became Portfolio Manager of Domestic Interest Rate in 2021.
  • Formerly a Portfolio Manager at Ventor Investimentos and a Macroeconomist at BBM Bank.
  • Master’s in Finance and Business Economics (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree Production Engineering (PUC-Rio).

Fernando Daitx

  • Macroeconomic Analyst Brazil.
  • Joined Bahia Asset Management in 2015 as an International Macroeconomic Analyst responsible for eurozone and some emerging markets. Took current position in 2016.
  • Master’s in Economics (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Economics (FGV).

Gustavo Frota

  • Equity Manager
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2009 as an Intern, becoming a Management Control Analyst in 2010. Appointed Coordinator of Management Control & Prices in 2011. In 2013 become a Equity Analyst and in 2022 become responsible for Business Analysis area. In 2023 took current position.
  • Master’s in finance and business economics (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering (PUC-Rio).

Henrique Kiepper, CFA

  • Macro Fund Strategist and Asset Allocation Fund Operator.
  • Joined Bahia Asset in 2017 as Risk and Prices Intern, became a Risk Analyst in 2018. In 2019, became a Fixed Income Trader, and assumed current roles in 2023.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (UFRJ).

Luisa Grobério

  • Foreign Exchange Strategies Manager.
  • Joined Bahia Group as an Intern in 2016, becoming an Analyst of Macroeconomic in the same year. Took current position in 2019.
  • Master’s in Macroeconomic and Finance (PUC-Rio) | Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (IBMEC).

Luiz Maciel

  • Chief Economist of Macro Brazil.
  • Joined Bahia Asset Management in 2013 on International Macroeconomic Research team. In 2016, started de coverage of Macroeconomic Brazil and in 2019 became responsible for Macroeconomic Research Brazil. Took current position in May 2020.
  • Worked at FGV’s Brazilian Economics Institute as an Analyst and Coordinator.
  • PhD in Economics (FGV) | Master’s in Economics (FGV) | Degrees in Mathematics (UnB) and Economics (UniCEUB).

Moysés Ferreira

  • Portfolio Manager of International Interest Rate and Credit Strategies.
  • Joined Bahia Asset in 2014 as an International Macroeconomic Intern, becoming, in the same year, Macroeconomic Analyst. In 2016, migrated to Fixed Income area passing by Currencies and Credit trading desks. Became Portfolio Manager of Interest Rate Strategy International in 2018. Took current position in 2021 with the merger of Interest Rate Strategy International and Credit trading desks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering (UFRJ).

Rafaela Palma

  • Responsible for Distribution and International Investor Relations, and for Products.
  • Joined Bahia Group as FoF Management Analyst in 2005, becoming Coordinator in 2006. Later moved to BBM Asset Management’s Product unit and also became responsible for commercial area of Distribution in 2010.
  • Worked at Telemar as Intern and Financial Analyst.
  • Master’s in Finance and Business Economics (FGV) | Graduate studies in Finance and capital markets at the same institution | Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering (UFRJ).

Renan Brito

  • Portfolio Manager of Currencies.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2010 as a Currency Trader. Took current position at Bahia Asset in 2014.
  • Previously worked as a Risk Analyst at Axio Investimentos and as an Intern at Banco CR2, Quantum, and Ciano Investimentos.
  • Master’s in Finance and Business Economics (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Economics (UFRJ).

Renan Maldonado

  • IT and Funds Control Coordinator.
  • Joined Bahia Group as an Intern in 2006, becoming a System Coordinator in 2013. Took current position in 2015.
  • MBA: IT Strategy Management (FGV) | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (UERJ).

Rodrigo Botelho

  • Responsible for Risk, IT, Finance & Administration.
  • Joined Bahia Group in 2005 as Intern and became Systems Analyst in 2007, migrating later to Quantitative Research. Appointed IT Head in 2011. Responsibility for Financial and Administrative Departments added in 2013, and Manager of Risk and Prices in 2015.
  • Master’s in Finance and economics (FGV) | Graduate studies in Project Management (FGV) | Graduated in Electronic engineering (UERJ).

Vinícius Sousa

  • Risk and Prices Coordinator.
  • Joined BBM Group in 2009 as a Risk AnAalyst. Later moved to Macroenonomic Research and then to Risk and Prices. Becoming Market Risk, Credit Risk and Liquidity Risk Coordinator.
  • Previously was na Intern ate BNDES and was part of BBM’s Summer Job Program.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics (FGV).
